The city of Kellogg is installing management improvements to the city’s stormwater outfalls. The city received $515,000 from Governor Little’s Leading Idaho initiative for the outfall projects located at Hill Street, north Kellogg, and Bunker Creek. This project will reduce phosphorus by 210 lbs. per year, yielding 2,100 lbs./10years (in perpetuity) for a cost-benefit ratio of $1160 per lb. per 10 years.
