Professional services purchased by DEQ typically call for a contractor’s time and effort and require special knowledge and skills in a particular discipline, science, or service. Examples of services contracted by DEQ include education, training, fisheries biology, environmental remediation, hydrology, water and air quality modeling, research, among many other specialty areas.
A Vendor Guide has been developed to acquaint potential contractors with DEQ's process for purchasing services. (It does not address purchases of goods or commodities.) The Guide covers such topics as bid notification procedures, vendor insurance requirements, and bid format requirements. Potential contractors are advised to submit a Vendor Form to be notified of bidding opportunities.
