DEQ seeks comment on draft 2024 groundwater quality monitoring project summary report

Accepting comments from July 14, 2026, through August 13, 2026.

The Idaho Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) is seeking comment on the 2024 groundwater quality monitoring project summary report.

The report summarizes DEQ’s water quality sampling and monitoring efforts in wells and springs across Idaho, as required under the “Groundwater Quality Rule” (IDAPA 58.01.11). This work helps DEQ assess water quality and aids in land use management decisions that impact groundwater.

The summary materials are available for public review at DEQ’s State Office (1410 North Hilton Street, Boise, Idaho 83706) and below. Written comments will be accepted through August 13, 2026, until 5 p.m. Mountain Time.
