BOISE – The Idaho Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) is seeking a representative to fill an open central Idaho grower position on the Crop Residue Burning (CRB) Advisory Committee.
The CRB Advisory Committee provides input and recommendations to DEQ on matters related to administering Idaho’s Crop Residue Burning Program.
The group meets annually, and responsibilities include the following:
- Participate in advisory committee meetings annually.
- Represent the interests and perspectives of growers in Central Idaho.
- Review and provide feedback on program policies, procedures, and guidance.

The next CRB Advisory Committee meeting is scheduled to be held virtually on February 26, 2026. Anyone interested in joining the CRB Advisory Committee is encouraged to attend.
