COEUR D’ALENE—Historic mining activities in the Coeur d’Alene Basin have led to widespread metals contamination from the South Fork Coeur d’Alene River to Lake Coeur d’Alene and on to the Spokane River.
COEUR D’ALENE—The Coeur d’Alene Lake Advisory Committee (CLAC) met today to prioritize $20 million for projects that improve and protect water quality in Coeur d’Alene Lake, as part of Governor Little’s Leading Idaho Initiative.
BOISE — The Idaho Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) received an application from Perpetua Resources Idaho, Inc. for a permit to construct, operate, and close a cyanidation facility intended to contain, treat, or dispose of process water containing cyanide.
