DEQ awards drinking water planning grant to the city of Salmon, Lemhi County

BOISE — The Idaho Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) today announced the award of a drinking water planning grant in the amount of $30,000 to the city of Salmon in Lemhi County.
The funds will be used to prepare a planning document. The purpose of the project is to evaluate the water system’s deficiencies and identify necessary improvements.
The total eligible cost of the project is $60,000. The remaining $30,000 will be funded by the city of Salmon.
