DEQ awards wastewater planning grant to the city of Plummer, Benewah County

BOISE — The Idaho Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) today announced the award of a wastewater planning grant in the amount of $43,500 to the city of Plummer in Benewah County.

The funds will be used to prepare a wastewater planning study. The purpose of the project is to evaluate the current wastewater system and identify any needed improvements.

The total eligible cost of the project is $115,000. The remaining $71,500 will be funded by the city of Plummer and the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Rural Development.
