DEQ seeks comment on draft reuse permit modification for Sandpiper Shores Master Utility, LLC

BONNER COUNTY — The Idaho Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) is seeking public comment on a draft water reuse permit modification for Sandpiper Shores Master Utility, LLC in Bonner County, Idaho.

The facility operates a wastewater treatment and reuse facility located on the north end of Priest Lake and uses treated wastewater for irrigation during the growing season. The permit modification would extend the expiration date of the reuse permit for one year.

Written comments on the draft permit modification will be accepted through August 13, 2020, at 5 p.m. MDT.

The draft permit modification is available for public review at DEQ's State Office by appointment only and on DEQ's website (download at right).
