DEQ awards drinking water planning grant to city of Blackfoot, Bingham County

BOISE — The Idaho Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) today announced the award of a $25,000 drinking water planning grant to the city of Blackfoot in Bingham County.

The funds will be used to prepare a drinking water planning study. The purpose of the project is to evaluate the water system’s deficiencies and identify necessary improvements.

The total eligible cost of the project is $50,000. The remaining $25,000 will be funded by the city of Blackfoot.
