DEQ awards drinking water planning grant to the city of Kimberly

BOISE — The Idaho Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) today announced the award of a drinking water planning grant for $35,000 to the city of Kimberly in Twin Falls County.

The funds will be used to prepare a drinking water facility plan. The purpose of the project is to evaluate the water system’s deficiencies and identify any necessary improvements.

The total eligible cost of the project is $70,000. The remaining $35,000 will be funded by the city of Kimberly.
