DEQ awards drinking water planning grant to the Cave Bay Community System

BOISE — The Idaho Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) today announced the award of a drinking water planning grant for $31,250 to the Cave Bay Community System in Kootenai County, Idaho.

The funds will be used to prepare a drinking water facility plan and environmental review. The purpose of the project is to evaluate the water system’s deficiencies and identify necessary improvements.

The total eligible cost of the project is $62,500. The remaining $31,250 will be funded by the Cave Bay Community System.
