DEQ announces public comment period on draft T1 permit for Northwest Pipeline LLC and opportunity for a public hearing

The Idaho Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) announces a public comment period and an opportunity for a public hearing for a draft Tier 1 operating permit for Northwest Pipeline LLC – Mountain Home.

Northwest Pipeline LLC is a natural gas compressor station located on Old Oregon Trail Road in Glenns Ferry, Idaho. The draft permit establishes facility-wide requirements in accordance with the Idaho State Implementation Plan control strategy and the “Rules for the Control of Air Pollution in Idaho” (IDAPA

To request a public hearing, contact Whitney Rowley on or before April 29, 2021. Hearing requests should include a brief statement explaining why a public hearing on the air quality aspects of the project would be beneficial. The meeting location will be accessible to persons with disabilities, and language translators will be made available upon request. Requests for these accommodations must be made no later than five days prior to the meeting date.
