Bacterial count represents the total coliform bacteria as a median of the last number of days of bacteriological sampling for which analyses have been completed. For Class B wastewater, it is the last 7 days of bacteriological sampling etc. For Class C wastewater, it is the last 5 days; and for Class D wastewater, it is the last 3 days. There is no total coliform limit for Class E wastewater (c.f. IDAPA 58.01.17.600.07). |
