The 2009 Idaho Wastewater Reuse Conference, focusing on Reclaimed Water — A Sustainable Solution, was held May 13 and 14 in Boise, Idaho. The purpose of the conference was to bring together cities, counties, state and federal agencies, consultants, developers, industry experts, operators and other professionals to discuss wastewater reuse in Idaho and the West. The conference featured presentations and discussions on such topics as water rights, emerging contaminants of concern, and treatment technologies.

This was the fifth year of the Idaho Wastewater Reuse Conference. The planning group for this year's conference included DEQ, Brown and Caldwell, CH2M Hill, HDR, Forsgren Associates, Eagle Sewer District, SPF, and U.S. EPA.
