The Idaho Legislature recently approved rules promulgated by DEQ and entitled Standards and Procedures for Application of Risk Based Corrective Action at Petroleum Release Sites (IDAPA 58.01.24). For implementation of these rules, DEQ will prepare a risk evaluation manual for petroleum releases which will be used as guidance.  DEQ is soliciting input from the public, including the regulated community and the Board of Trustees of the Idaho Petroleum Clean Water Trust Fund, on development of a guidance manual as required in Section 700 of the rules. DEQ held the initial public workshop on August 19, 2009.
