 PM96-8: Policy Directed to All Staff at DEQ Working with Award

 of Grants from the Water Pollution Control Account (WPCA)

 Purpose

To establish a DEQ policy for the award of grants from the Water Pollution Control Account (WPCA).
 

 Statement of Policy

Effective the date of this document,DEQ staff are prohibited from making pre-award commitments verbally or in writing for funds from the State Water Pollution Control Account (WPCA) to any potential grantee.

This policy is instituted to make prudent use of limited resource in the Water Pollution Control Account (WPCA) and in accordance with sound financial practices.

 

 Implementation

This policy shall be effective immediately.
