Draft 401 Certification - Teton County Public Works - Road Reconstruction

Accepting Comments from June 26, 2020 to July 27, 2020

This action would authorize the applicant to reconstruct a 3.3 mile portion of road N4000W in Teton County, Idaho near Driggs. The project has the potential to impact Bear Creek and associated unnamed streams. The project is being proposed to address road safety and structural integrity of the roadway.

Based on its review of the joint application for permit, DEQ certifies that if the permittee complies with the terms and conditions imposed by the permit along with the conditions set forth in this water quality certification, then there is reasonable assurance the activity will comply with the applicable requirements of the Clean Water Act, the Idaho water quality standards, and other appropriate water quality requirements of state law.
