Accepting Comments from November 3, 2017 to November 24, 2017

This action would authorize Mink Land and Livestock to stabilize Weiser River bank by installing five bank barbs, miscellaneous toe rock and planting willows and cottonwood into the eroding bank and adjacent riparian zone. The project will also reduce a large gravel bar from the opposite side of the river.

Based on its review of the joint application for permit, DEQ certifies that if the permittee complies with the terms and conditions imposed by the permit along with the conditions set forth in this water quality certification, then there is reasonable assurance the activity will comply with the applicable requirements of the Clean Water Act, the Idaho water quality standards, and other appropriate water quality requirements of state law.
