DEQ awards wastewater planning grant to the city of Kamiah, Lewis County

BOISE — The Idaho Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) today announced the award of a wastewater planning grant in the amount of $45,000 to the city of Kamiah in Lewis County.

The funds will be used to prepare a wastewater planning document and environmental review. The purpose of the project is to evaluate the current wastewater system and develop alternatives for any needed improvements.

The total eligible cost of the project is $90,000. The remaining $45,000 will be funded by the city of Kamiah.
