Thursday, April 16, 2020

BOISE — The Idaho Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) today announced the award of $98,081 in drinking water construction assistance to the Hidden Pines Trailer Park in Bonner County.

The funding will be used to provide a new drinking water source and connect to the existing distribution system.

The assistance from DEQ’s State Revolving Loan Fund, which is capitalized annually by EPA grants, provides this funding with no repayment obligation. The favorable funding terms represent $146,381 in savings to the community when compared to average costs for municipal general obligation debt issuances.
