DEQ awards drinking water planning grant to city of American Falls, Power County

BOISE — The Idaho Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) today announced the award of a drinking water planning grant in the amount of $20,000 to the city of American Falls in Power County.

The funds will be used to prepare a planning document. The purpose of the project is to evaluate the water system’s deficiencies and identify necessary improvements.

The total eligible cost of the project is $40,000. The remaining $20,000 will be funded by the city of American Falls.
