DEQ seeks applicants for sustainable materials management project funding

BOISE – The Idaho Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) is accepting applications for funding to implement or enhance sustainable materials management projects in Idaho.

DEQ is interested in funding projects that specifically focus on reducing food waste, construction and demolition waste, or packaging waste. Projects should demonstrate lasting impact in the area served.

Applicants can apply for up to $25,000 for sustainable materials management projects. The full application package, including eligibility and ranking criteria, is available on DEQ’s website (download at right). Applications are due September 28, 2018, at 5 p.m. MDT.
