Board of Environmental Quality to meet November 16 in Boise

BOISE — The Idaho Board of Environmental Quality will meet November 16 at the Idaho Department of Environmental Quality, State Office Conference Center, 1410 N. Hilton, Boise.
The meeting will begin at 9 a.m. with a 30-minute public comment period, followed by a report by DEQ Director John Tippets.
The board's agenda includes proposed updates to water quality standards, air pollution control, Idaho Pollutant Discharge Elimination System Program, and hazardous waste rules, and water quality staff will give a conceptual presentation on originating funds through a partnership with the Idaho Bond Bank.
