SALMON — Be part of the conversation when it comes to Salmon's air quality. Attend Salmon's Clean Air Committee open house on Wednesday, January 24, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Salmon City Hall, 200 Main St.
Come to discuss air quality concerns in Salmon and learn more about the PM Advance program, a non-regulatory program aimed at reducing fine particulate matter (PM2.5) emissions through a partnership between the Idaho Department of Environmental Quality and City of Salmon. Information will be provided about clean burning, the health effects of poor air quality, available data, and data collection. Attendees can take home a free stovepipe thermometer and learn how they can help improve air quality.
