Monday, January 22, 2018
BOISE — The Idaho Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) has received a request from NxEdge to modify the air quality permit to construct (PTC) that regulates emissions from the company’s metal product fabrication and refurbishing facility in Boise.
The proposed permit modification will allow the company to increase material usage, include a new spray powder in the fluoropolymer area, permit four existing abrasive blasting booths, and include a facility-wide natural gas usage limit. Emissions must remain within legally allowable limits.
A public comment period will be provided on the proposed permit if a written request is submitted to DEQ by February 6, 2018, at 5 p.m. MST.
The permit application is available for review on DEQ’s website (download at right).
