McCain Foods, Burley, applies to DEQ for air quality permit to construct

BURLEY — The Idaho Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) has received a request for an air quality permit to construct (PTC) from McCain Foods, Burley.
The proposed permit will regulate emissions at the company's potato processing facility located at 218 West Highway 30.
A public comment period will be provided on the proposed permit if a written request is submitted to DEQ by March 20, 2018, at 5 p.m. MDT.
The permit application is available for review on DEQ’s website (download at right).
