Idaho Collision Centers, Meridian, applies to DEQ for general air quality permit to construct

MERIDIAN — The Idaho Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) has received a request for an air quality general permit to construct (PTC) for automotive coating operations from Idaho Collision Centers, Meridian.

The permit will regulate emissions from the automotive coating operation located at 180 S. Adkins Way.

Facilities that use a maximum of 4.0 gallons or less of coating materials per calendar day are eligible to apply for a streamlined general permit.

A public comment period will be provided on the proposed permit if a written request is submitted to DEQ by March 28, 2018, at 5 p.m. MDT.

The permit application is available for review on DEQ’s website (download at right).
