DEQ seeks comment on proposed air quality permit to construct for Basic American Foods, Shelley

SHELLEY — The Idaho Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) is seeking public comment on a proposed air quality permit to construct (PTC) for Basic American Foods, Shelley.

The proposed permit will regulate emissions from the company's food drying and dehydrating plant located at 434 S. Emerson Ave.

The deadline for submitting written comments addressing air quality considerations is October 25, 2017, at 5 p.m. MDT. A public hearing may be held if requested in writing by October 10, 2017.
