DEQ awards wastewater planning grant to the Star Sewer and Water District, Ada County

BOISE — The Idaho Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) today announced the award of a wastewater planning grant in the amount of $42,500 to the Star Sewer and Water District, Ada County.
The funds will be used to prepare a wastewater facility planning study.
The purpose of the project is to evaluate the existing wastewater system to address the viability of the system, future discharge permits, and alternatives for a pipeline extension.
The total eligible cost of the project is $85,000. The remaining $42,500 will be funded by the Star Sewer and Water District.
