We know you have so many ways to get information today. From social media, to podcasts, to more traditional media outlets, a world of information is at our fingertips. With our new DEQ blog, we want to expand our communication efforts beyond press releases and social media to provide Idahoans with a more diverse, flexible set of topics. Watch for blogs about our different programs (air, water, and waste) and work being done by DEQ, as well as tips and information to help protect Idaho’s natural resources. We hope this blog will be informative, accessible, and dynamic.
If you are interested in receiving e-mail updates when new entries are posted, click the Subscribe to this blog link (at right) to sign up. The blog posts will also be categorized by program or topic and can be filtered to only show content of interest to you.
DEQ’s mission is to protect human health and preserve the quality of Idaho's air, land, and water for use and enjoyment today and in the future. We hope this blog will help us explain the work that happens to fulfill that mission and how citizens, organizations, and businesses are vital partners with us in those efforts. Thanks for joining us!
The Communications and Outreach Team assists in communicating DEQ's message to stakeholders, the regulated community, the news media, and the general public.
