IPDES E-Permitting System Training for Suction Dredge, Drinking Water Treatment, and Ground Water Remediation General Permittees (Updated)

On July 1, 2020, DEQ will become the authority responsible for NPDES General Permits (excluding storm water).

  • Drinking Water Treatment Facilities
    • DMRs submittals will continue through NetDMR.
    • NOI submittals and other reporting will require using DEQ’s IPDES E-Permitting System.
  • Ground Water Remediation
    • DMRs submittals will continue through NetDMR.
    • NOI submittals and other reporting will require using DEQ’s IPDES E-Permitting System.
  • Small-Scale Suction Dredge
    • NOI submittals and reporting will require using DEQ’s IPDES E-Permitting System.
  • Pesticide General Permit (PGP)
    • NOI submittals and reporting will continue through eNOI.
  • Aquaculture – Concentrated Aquatic Animal and Fish Processors Associated with Aquaculture facilities (CAAP)
    • DMRs submittals will continue through NetDMR.
    • NOI, change NOI, and NOT submittals will continue through NeT.
    • All other reporting will require using DEQ’s IPDES E-Permitting System.
  • Concentrated Animal Feeding Operations (CAFO)
    • There are currently no facilities covered in Idaho; new NOIs will require using eNOI.

 All other reporting will require using DEQ’s IPDES E-Permitting System.

In preparation for the upcoming transition, DEQ is providing free IPDES E-Permitting training for the following sectors:

  • Drinking Water Treatment
  • Ground Water Remediation
  • Small-Scale Suction Dredge
  • CAAPs

This training is intended for the certifying official or duly-authorized representatives who are designated by the facility to be the “administrator” for the online IPDES E-Permitting account. However, other appropriate personnel responsible for entering, editing, and/or submitting information may also attend. During the training, DEQ will demonstrate how to access, register, and manage the IPDES E-Permitting System for their permitted facility.

Due to COVID-19, the IPDES E-Permitting training originally scheduled at our regional offices will now be offered online. Advanced registration is not required. The revised training schedule (sector specific), WebEx information, and call-in numbers are listed below.
