Wastewater professionals who are interested in becoming certified Wastewater Operators in Idaho are invited to attend Wastewater Treatment Operator Certification Training sponsored by the Idaho Department of Environmental Quality and the Rural Community Assistance Corporation.

Course Description

This two-day training will introduce the core competencies required to successfully pass the State of Idaho’s Wastewater Treatment Operators Certification Exam for OIT and Level I. This course is recommended for individuals with less than one year of wastewater experience or for people interested in starting a career in the wastewater industry. Students will use learned experiences, observation, and newly taught critical problem-solving techniques to prepare for ABC exam testing. Sample exams and quizzes will be offered throughout the course. An overview of federal and state laws will also be discussed. The course will be taught by Andy O'Neill, Class IV Wastewater Operator in Washington, Oregon, and Idaho.

Details

The course fee is $75, which includes two days of training and course materials. Please bring a pencil and calculator to class, and lunch is on your own.

After completing the registration process, a confirmation email will be sent. You will receive an invoice a few days later, which will list options for payment.

Continuing Education Credits

Training is approved for 1.3 CEUs for wastewater.
