EnviroFlash provides "heads-up" information so people can adjust their daily activities according to when air quality is good, or when potentially unhealthy conditions are anticipated.  The program notifies subscribers about air quality forecasts at self-selected air quality index (AQI) health levels, and about Air Quality Action days. 

Those enrolled in EnviroFlash receive only the information they choose to receive. If you have small children or family members with asthma or other health problems, you may want to be notified when the air is predicted to be unhealthy for sensitive groups. People who work or exercise strenuously are in this category due to increased deep respiration. People who do not have cardio-pulmonary health risks may choose to be notified only when the forecast is unhealthy.
