Nick Purdy owns and operates Picabo Livestock Company, Purdy Enterprises, and the Silver Creek Convenience Store in Picabo, Idaho. Mr. Purdy is a member and past director of the Idaho Cattleman's Association, and is a past member of the Board of Directors of the Idaho Nature Conservancy. A division of his company, Feedlot Environmental Systems, has developed a system to control dust, cool cattle and control flies and odor that has been installed in cattle feedlots all over the West and Mid-West. Mr. Purdy received his Bachelors of Science in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Idaho, and has been awarded the National Environmental Stewardship Award and the Department of Interior Stewardship Award.
